@Peather2013: I would as if they would take that side diamond out. I feel like It would ruin it and I’d rather have it out of the ring, personally.  Do you work in a job that having a raised setting is workable? (not wearing gloves or being where it can be caught). Also do you like your band by itself?

Those are just questions I’d ask myself. My wedding set would hide some of my diamonds as well. But I’m in nursing school, so soldering mine (ering is a raised setting) wouldn’t be practical anyway.

In my opinion I would get them soldered, only because without being soldered together the two bands are rubbing together and that’s going to cause wear and damage to both rings. It sucks that so much of the detail is hidden on your e-ring, but…the only way to not have that happen is to not wear the rings together at all. So, if you are going to wear them together…I would solder them. Just my opinion though….do what you want.

I don’t have as detailed of bands, but I got mine soldered. No regrets! It keeps them from spinning and rubbing against each other as well.

They will rub and damage each other if you don’t.  Do you wear them separately at all?  Another option is a spacer band.  I would not want them rubbing each other, but a .8mm or 1mm spacer from etsy would prevent a lot of damage.

If you don’t wear them seperate ever then may as well soder them. But if you’ve never worn them seperate I suggest trying it once first, I love to wear just my band everyday and adding in the e ring when going out 🙂
