    I’m not sure if I’m more surprised at $240 shoes or at $40 wedding dress!

    My Answer is “it depends”!

    Did you buy a $40 dress because you are on a tight budget and that’s what you could afford ( and as such $240 shoes might break the budget) or did you buy the $40 because you loved it and didn’t want to spend so much money on a dress that you’ll wear once?

    If you’re on a very tight budget, then this might not be the place to splurge on. If not, then go ahead 😀 even AFTER shoes and dress you’ll only have spent $280 on dress AND shoes!!!

    The good thing is you’ll probably wear the shoes again and again!!

    Normally my vote would be to splurge, but if you aren’t comfortable spending $240 on shoes I wouldn’t. I think you could get a pair of navy satin peep toe shoes and put a pearl shoe clip on them for much less.

    @miz fizzix:

    For memory foam, so that you don’t end up a barefoot bride? Splurge, baby. It’s practically a necessity!

    Haha I agree! $240 is definitely a sticker shock. If it were me I’d have my eyes bulge out and then slowly put them back on the rack.

    I had a splurge moment but it wasn’t as expensive. I fell in love with a hand fan that cost $60 . My family couldn’t understand why I’d pay so much for something that I’d use to cool down, but I couldn’t stop myself .. i just HAD to have it!

    Think about it this way.. If you would have bought the dress for $240 ( even that would have been a SUPER deal) and found $40 shoes.. then you probably wouldn’t have thought about it , right?!

    By The Way my husband says “I think she should buy them” !

    Oh and I spent my whole wedding without any shoes on because they were comfy at first, and then hurt after an hour. my dress ended up super dirty on the bottom and my feet were even dirtier!and I spent around $50 on my shoes.

    So yes for memory foam!

    I only read the title and my head was already screaming “splurge!”  and then I had to yell at my head to shut up.

    I have heard good things about them too but do you get to try it on?  or return them in case it’s not comfortable?  I’m really careful when buying shoes online because you really have to make sure they are comfortable, and shoes are way less forgiving than clothes when shopping online.

    BUT, if you have faith in their comfort and it’s within your budget, SPLURGE!!!

    @miz fizzix – If only I could get him to agree to me doing the splurging!!

    I agree with @CrispyRn about trying them out and being able to return them. Something you should consider just in case 😀

    @miz fizzix: when I’m trying to make a decision like this, I flip a coin. If I don’t like the answer, then I know what I really want ^_^
