Its your wedding, do what you want!

I like my man in stubble, but don't think it is appropriate for a wedding

I hate scruff anyway, good ridance

    My man was clean shaven

My man had stubble on the day

My man has more interesting facial hair than that

My SO has a very full longish beard. People are always bugging him about shaving, but I happen to love his beard. We both know as soon as we get engaged it will be the constant questioning of  whether he’ll shave. The answer is hell no!!! I personally wouldn’t be opposed to him trimming it much shorter, but I think that would be a lost battle.

I’m not a fan of stubble but who cares? It’s your wedding, do what you want!

I LOVE my guy with about 2 or 3 days worth of stubble. It is when he’s at his prime. His face looks a little weird completely clean shaven, and really, he’s so hairy that it never looks very clean anyway.

    So stubble all the way!

Mine has a beard (very well kept though) and I won’t let him get rid of it, especially not for the wedding! Smile

I love stubble. When Darling Husband is clean shaven he looks way younger (like teenager young). He did have stubble on our wedding day because that is how he usually looks and we wanted to look like our “normal” selves for the wedding.

@MsLabRat:  Some men look better with facial hair!

If you both like the look, go for it!

Darling Husband went clean shaven for the wedding. He enjoys being clean shaven becuase he’s a teacher, but during winter break he let’s himself get stuble, and it is hot. I say it is your wedding do what you want, but more IMPORTANTLY let your Fiance do what he wants to do.

Psshh that’s from last century.  Modern grooms can do whatever they want.  My guy had a very short trimmed beard for our wedding and looked super handsome 🙂

@MsLabRat:  I hate scruff. MrPanda99 will be shaving or else he won’t be kissed. How’s THAT for a picture?

I think it depends on the scruff. Dh rocks a seriously sexy scruffy face look, but well maintained scruff, another guy friend has patchy, uncotrolled scruff. It totally is dependant on the face! i also might die if Darling Husband clean shaved any time soon, he has been clean shaven like once in the almost four years we known each other.

i think if your SO is normally not clean shaven that is okay for your wedding, you want him to look like him!

I have never seen my Fiance without scruff, so I hope if he wants to shave he’d do atrial run much in advance in case I don’t like it!

I loooove a bit of stubble…but Darling Husband decided to go clean shaven. I told him whatever would be fine with me!

While I agree that it’s your wedding and you can do whatever you want, I might unconsciously raise an eyebrow at a groom who wasn’t either clean-shaven or had nicely groomed facial hair. Please no neckbeard.

edit: not necessarily just a groom, but anyone in a tux/suit
