Hello all. I am 26, almost 27, and have the time old question regarding tanning. To tan or not to tan. MY complextion is olive, I tan easily. I spent HOURS in a tanning bed when i was younger, and though I know it’s not good for you, what’s my alternative? My dress was nearly $2500, I don’t want to do the airbrush and risk it running on that day. I can go 2x a week for 6 weeks, adn that’s IT. I ALWAYS cover my face and actually apply SPF…….. What’s your thoughts? I know, I know, I know it’s bad for me. I’m goign to be a doctor….I know…….Just help me find an alternative BEES! 😉 Love to all.

Honestly, if you tan easy (have the skin for it) and it will make you feel better, I say do it. I have the worst skin to tan and could never, unfortunately. I don’t know a ton about skin, but I don’t think a few weeks of tanning is going to give you cancer or a ton more wrinkles ten years down the line. Just my personal opinion based on no research or actual study. 😉

How about working with your natural complexion? It seems like you are well aware of the dangers of tanning, so just go with it! : )
