I couldn’t do this myself (I personally loved collecting all the data and knowing exactly when I ovulated) but I feel like I see more often than not on here that it usually causes more stress by ditching ALL the tracking. but since you’re only doing OpK you can just try to Bd around the days you got positives for the last few months.

Every month I say I’m going to try to ditch everything….and then CD10  comes and I start panicking and it doesn’t work for me! I need all the information 🙂

I got ku my first month trying, just using the ideas behind TCOYF and checking cm and position. I didn’t chart but was going to start the next month. It’s possible to get pg without doing so. Couples have been doing it for millions of years Without charts and apps. Good luck!

We’ve been ttc for 19 months so I gave up all the tracking once we started fertility treatments in August. We are on a break until we are doing IVF in the spring so I’m not doing anything other than paying attention to my CM. After 19 cycles I have a really good sense of my body and the signs of ovulation so we are still doing it around my fertile time but I’m so sick of peeing on things with no results. Its actually been a nice break and is not freaking me out at all.

I never really did the temps thing.  This month I am just doing OPKs because its the first month on clomid and I want to see if my O moves.  But I feel that I just stressed about all the data.  so it is better for us to just try to EOD or EO2D during the window.  so far OPK has been zero reading, so I am thinking my O has moved a bit later in the cycle.

I will let you know next month?! I am totally OCD with planning and not knowiong drives me nuts but we decided not to do OPK’s this month since its pretty costly, luckly I have grad school to distract me.

SO wants me to ditch all TTC methods and just let it happen naturally but after years of using NFP with my ex husband and then TTC the same way I am having a hard time letting go. I have a pretty good idea of when I ovulate from the years of NFP but still I want to KNOW when I ovulated so I can test ASAP. Ugh.

I think I talked him into letting me temp so I dont drive myself insane.

Cote1590:  I stopped tracking everything except for CM and CP (but I had only been doing that for few weeks so it was still new) on the cycle we conceived.  It was horrible!  I wasn’t sure when I Od so it made testing and waiting even worse.  Darling Husband enjoyed it more though because DTD didn’t feel like such a chore.  The only day we made sure to DTD was when I had EWCM.  I didn’t get my BFP until the day after AF started and I Od 2 days before I had originally thought (dating ultrasound).  If we didn’t get pregnant that cycle I was going to go back to tracking and just not tell Darling Husband 🙂

Once we started talking about TTC, I immediately looked into tracking – and had read some information from this board too. With our luck in life, I highly doubt we’d have success just BDing whenever and getting pregnant. That’s just not us, anyway. So… trakcing it is and tracking it has been.

After reading TCOYF, I do understand my body more now, and know that EWC is the best to see, but since we started (in September) I had a month where I didn’t even get that. And even last month, I had it for a two days – 1 3 days before O and then on O. I like my chances having some information on what’s going on with my body.

Cote1590:  Good luck, this is a very personal journey and what works for you and your Darling Husband is best.  It is hard enough to try and keep sane in this process.  I know there are days I am just baby crazy, to emotional wreck to others when I don’t even think of it at all.

TTC for 8 months now for us has been a huge roller coaster and we just started seeing an RE.

Be good to yourself and FX!!
