I’d prefer getting a small cosmetic bag and filling it with my own stuff, but I’m also particular about the brands of things like tampons.

I’m not a Type A either, although when it comes to my wedding it would be nice if everything did go smoothly.  Anyway I would love something like this and I think EVERY bride needs one.  You never know what may happen.

I would find out if she has a DOC.  If yes, then the DOC will have all this stuff for her, (mine had a whole suitcase of emergency items).  If not then then is a great idea.

My wedding coordinator got one for me…it’s still all unused:) but it was nice knowing it was there if I needed it!

@Meowkers:  THIS. I am type A and Im in the process of hiring a DOC so I can save my sanity. My DOC has said she has and brings a huge emergency kit. I also know that the bridal attendant at my venue has an emergency kit also.

If she has no DOC or planner and her venue doesn’t have it then I say I love it.

@jo.lee:  LOL!  I’ve seen similar bags at Sephora and love the concept.  However all that stuff is packed pretty tightly and I can’t imagine trying to repack the thing after I’ve dumped it out looking for the Advil.  😛

It’s a bit more expensive but LeSportSac has some cute small cosmetics bags.

The Target first aid section has a lot of those “single use” size things like packets of ibuprofen and stuff like that.

You could get an “emergency list” like pg 21 of the Russell + Hazel wedding template and work off of that.

One of my bridesmaids has what she calls her “Mary Poppins” bag for all beauty emergencies.  I can only wonder what she has in it!

My mom and sister did this for me, and it was so helpful!

YES! I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man last weekend and I actually made one of these up for the bride, because I’m the Type A and she’s the one that’s not so organised – but dreads ‘the unknown’ occuring.
