I have naturally wavy, frizzy hair. I’m going to blow dry it and curl it with a flat iron. If you’ve never tried this, do it immediately. It is amazing. You can youtube to learn how to do it. The curls will STAY even in humidity and after sleeping on it! After I curl it, I’ll probably pin some of it back from my face.

I plan on doing a somewhat messy / curly bun tucked back and set to one side of my head. I kind of want messy curls that look pretty…heehee. But I’m going to see how my hairstylist does it and what she thinks!

@aubiegirl: This is how my aunt wants to style my hair! She’s my stylist. I have never done it, or seen it that I know of. She just told me about it yesterday.

I had told her I wanted to wear my hair down. I have naturaly curly hair and it is long. I always wear my hair down and natural. I just want to feell like myself and I am terrified at the idea of having prom hair. She’s going to try it out on me next time I get my hair done. Yay!

@UpstateCait: My hair sounds kind of like yours – loose, rather than tight curl, tends to frizz more than curl (lucky me!) but on the rare good hair day, looks wavy/curly.

Here are some of my inspiration pics:

So yeah, basically, I think I’m going for a low, loose updo. I thought about a half-updo, but my wedding’s in late June, and I’m afraid my neck would get all sweaty and my hair would frizz the F out.

I have spiral curls when I use product but if I just wash it they are loose curls here is a pic of my hair trial. My hair will be curlier the day of though

Well, this may not apply to many of the bees (I’m black… but I’m still gonna answer). Baha! I finally finally figured out how I’m gonna wear my hair. I have natural hair (very curly) that is semi-short. I went to the salon a few weeks ago and she did a finger style. Basically it stretches out the curls and makes them more defined. I LOVED it! I already made an appointment for her to do it again the Friday before I get married. I can do it myself, but I want it to be perfect for my wedding day 🙂

@Ms. Peach: yay! I think you will like it. You should post pics when you’re finished! Just for reference, here is my hair after I curled it with a flat iron.  This was on an extremely rainy/gross day, too. I’ve tried so many things on my hair, and this definitely holds the best.

I love the Eva Longoria hair! I am wearing my hair up with my hair straightned and recurled. I have really really curly hair and I don’t trust my natural curls not to frizz. Also why I’m not going with my hair down, I think it’s easier for an updo to stay molded in place.

My hair is a lot like yours and also hates anything that isn’t cool dry air.  I chose to wear mine up because of that and she made sure to hairspray it pretty good.  Here are a few pictures that show how my hair was and my main inspiration picture although we altered my hair a bit from it.

Futuremrsmartin is one of my inspiration pics. I’m on my phone so I can’t post pics, but she has shared them a few times I think.
