Keep my set (0.60ct VS1 solitaire with non matching band)

Get the new halo set (1.00ct SI1 halo with matching wedding band )

Make a new custom ring. But it will be super expensive.

I think your current stone and set are absolutely lovely. Wouldn’t change it.

I love the original set far more than the halo. But my taste is more for classic simplicity.

Why don’t you have the e-ring reset so that it fits closer to your wedding band and maybe add a small spacer to close any remaining gap?

I prefer your current set. I love halos and have one myself but your current set is much more beautiful Than the halo set. Maybe just get a new band that sits flushed with your current?

Your set now is magical! Sorry but the halo seems a little cheap and you wont be able to wear that gorgous wedding band that you have now! Why not just upgrade your solitaire’s center stone?

raisinglogan:  I’ve always liked that first set so I’d pick it over the halo. Why the new account btw?

Do you still have your 1 carat equiv moissy? You could see if you could have your current diamond set in that setting since it looks like it sat flush with your wedding band: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/canadian-bees-show-me-your-rings/

I do remember that several posts of yours from before tended to show that you weren’t too happy with the size though. So if you’re going to keep getting the upgrade itch, then maybe the halo is the way to go for you.

I think your original set os more beautiful, gap and all. I wouldn’t change it for the option you are considering.

Your first set is so pretty and classic, I wouldn’t change it except possibly to get the e ring reset so it sits closer to your wedding band as PP mentioned.

Oh, and you can’t put anything by the Grid:-) she has an amazing memory!
