Keep my set (0.60ct VS1 solitaire with non matching band)

Get the new halo set (1.00ct SI1 halo with matching wedding band )

Make a new custom ring. But it will be super expensive.

I would upgrade to a larger diamond, with the best stats you can afford, and a simple sol that is going to sit flush with your current ring.  I would make sure that there is an upgrade policy with the dealer, so you can upgrade again without worry if you so choose.  And then I would save up for the dream setting.

lovealways:  A lot of free time is digging up two year old threads. Much like “found the vegan”, we’ve found BlingBee’s other account, that’s clear.

OP, I LOVE your current set and I’d keep it exactly the way it is.

It’s funny. This is OP’s thread. The OP had no problems with grid’s reply, and she merely asked a question. A curiosity – if you will.

If you don’t like drama….don’t start it. All the people talking about grids post are doing that.

I love halos, but I prefer your original set. I say reset your original diamond in a beautiful dainty halo…that’s my pick! Love your set! 🙂

You don’t necessarily have to custom make a halo for your current diamond. My husband had chosen a diamond and the jeweler brought in different halo settings to see  one fit. I personally love Halo’s, I’ve always wanted one. They are actually an antique setting that has come back in a big way! If you are ready for a change… Do it! Just research a little more. I’m sure you will make a great decision. Here is my halo,  He did a great job btw… 😍 lol

I think your current set is the perfect size and the halo you tried on just doesn’t look as good on your finger IMO. Why not just reset your diamond into another solitaire setting that sits flush with your wedding band?
