I really want to wear a veil but my mother is pulling the Irish tradition card and wants me to wear a crown of flowers for the wedding. I’m not entirely against the idea….my wedding is in a garden, my dress is called the Irish Garden (the bodice is green and the skirt is cream with green vines embroidered up from the hem) so the idea of wearing flowers in my hair is natural. I’m thinking baby’s breath, similar to the below:
Can I wear a veil with this? How would I pull it off?

Pretty! I love the baby breath wreath! I wouldn’t wear a full on veil with it, but maybe adding some tulle where the ribbon is. Something like this?

@FutureMrsSitler: Yeah, that’s really cool. I’m wearing my hair half down though…maybe I can have my hair dresser weave flowers into my hair?
What kind of flowers work best for weaving flowers into one’s hair? I still really want to wear a full veil…think I could pin it to my hair and put the wreath over top of it? Or what about something like this:
