not at all! Better to not wear a veil and look good and feel comfortable than wear a veil and feel uncomfortable and look ridiculous. Go with what makes you feel the best 🙂 And wearing the flower that belonged to your grandmother would be really special 🙂

@Ice Skate:  gorgeous dress and you can def go no veil. If you feel goofy it is so not worth it.

A veil makes you a bride! I say yes!

Your day and you wear what you want!  No one is going forget that you are the bride if you don’t wear a veil, and the dress is great.

It’s so common these days to go sans veil that I cannot imagine anyone would take notice. The flower will look lovely and mean more since it was your grandma’s! Can’t wait to see it! 🙂

I was really leaning towards not wearing one because I hated all the veils I tried on in stores!  I ended up ordering one off Etsy that was the super simple veil I had imagined and it is perfect!  And it was only $15, which was a big bonus!  I think it’s totally fine not to wear one though–the last two weddings I’ve been to the bride was veilless, and they didn’t look any less “bridal”

Hmm well I personally love veils and I wouldn’t feel like a bride without out, but that is just me. You may just be a no veil bride and that is perfectly fine.

I think your dress would look stunning with a very plain cathedral veil.

I definitely don’t like it with the veil in the picture.  Did you try it with a raw edge fingertip veil?

You don’t need a veil though and nobody will notice if you don’t have one!
