I am wearing nothing in my hair! Its going to be down. I dont like flowers cause they remind me of the beach, I havent found a hair clip I like (or that isnt huge). No birdcage veil cause it doesnt match my dress…..and headbands make me feel like ‘m 12 again! And I’ve been considering a veil, but a nice simple one, but so many of them are so poofy! And the material a lot of them are made of bugs my skin.

BUT It is the only chance to wear a veil and not look like a crazy person.

I wore one, but no blusher! I was not a big fan of the veil at first, but Fiance liked the idea. I bought some tulle to mess around with to see what length would be nice…and that mock-up ended up being my veil!

Ive always drooled over my mother’s wedding pictures, and she wore a veil, so I couldn’t picture myself being without one. However, once I was engaged, my mom let me try on her whole outfit, and let me just say… not only did she make that dress look MUCH more beautiful than it looked on me, but her blusher veil made me want to say “But… I AM your daughter!” in a creepy childlike english accent… The Others anyone?

But once I picked my dress (with a chapel length train) I found a gorgeous cathedral length veil to go with it, and if we’re being honest, it was the viel, not the dress, that made me cry. So yes to the veil for me!!

But reall I’m having the best of both worlds, cause I’m planning to wear a headband and a flower for the reception… kind of hard to boogey down with a cathedral length veil lol.

I’m totally rocking the veil. I have a cathedral veil trimmed with lace for the ceremony and an elbow length veil with sparklies for the reception.

I had a finger tip veil but really it was like a 3/4 length veil as I have a long back, i love it to death. Can’t wait for pictures of it as it looked beautiful both in front and behind my shoulders.
