I am not sure what kind of veil or headpiece I should wear, as I am not sure if a veil goes with the style of my dress.
This is my dress, do any of you have suggestions as to what might work?
ETA: In this picture I am wearing a crystal headband that the bridal shop had. I plan on wearing my hear curly and all pinned to the opposite side of the strap.

@Baroness_Meg: With that dress I would do a nice hair piece but not a veil. Maybe have your hair up and add a head fascinator?

I think that any dress can have a veil, just the right one… maybe an elbow length (my sister had this with her one strap dress, and it was nice) or a cathedral length would work? Also, I think headpieces might look really good with the one strap. Just try things on and see what works!

How about birdcage veil with side do?
or headband only….
I think you can still do a veil….

I wasnt going to veil and the bridal attendant talked me into it when I got my dress. BOY was I happy she did! It was awesome, and when I considered that this is pretty much the only time I’d be able to wear one, I was sold. I was so sold, in fact, that I paid that favor forward recently with a friend who just had a fitting. She did a 180 too, and is so excited about her veil!
In the end, it’s up to you, but definitely consider it!

Definitely got to vote for a smoking, sultry, birdcage veil, maybe with a nice fascinator.

Veils always work, its just which one if any
My mum insisted I had a veil with 2 tiers and I was like meh … small compromise. Now I actually have my drop veil and love it.
Id say a lot of it would depend on your venue too, where you getting married??

Most def I always vote for veil…..all dress are capable of some type of veil so most def you can wear one!
I think your dress would look lovely with something like this. It has small scattered rhinestones to give suble sparkle which would look nice with your dress!

@leecy87: I am having it at the Old Mill Inn & Spa here in Toronto, it’s one of the oldest buildings in the city, getting married in the small chapel and then the reception in one of the banquet rooms.
Thank you all for your input, and pictures! I think I need to try some veils on with my dress when I go for my fitting to see what I like best! 🙂 I’m leaning towards birdcage right now. 🙂
