I can’t decide what look I want to have. I have never beena big fan of veils, but I feel like it really completes the bridal look. (my mom agrees and really doesn’t want me not to have one) If i get one I plan to take it off after the ceremony. We were out shopping yesterday and priced some, the ones I real.ly liked were around $170..my mouth dropped open. so when I got home I went looking online and found some for 30 that are very similar, just can’t decide.
how did you decide?

I never imagined wearing a veil. I tried one on while dress shopping and totally changed my mind. I do think it completes the bridal look.

I knew as soon as I tried one on

My dress has an open back, and when I tried on a veil, it covered the back and looked really pretty. I am only wearing it for the ceremony, I have a cute little birdcage/feather hairpeice thing for the reception.

@goldengrlbride: i’m in the same boat as you! I really can’t imagine myself wearing a veil, however I do want a few pictures with one, so I think I will take it off shortly after the ceremony.

@goldengrlbride: My sister didn’t wear a veil and my mom was so disappointed. I don’t really care one way or the other so she can buy me a veil to wear for the ceremony.

I love veils and I plan on wearing one with bordered edges. All a preferance.

I never wanted to wear a veil but when my dress came in I tried one on for my mom and I just felt like a bride. I knew I had to have one then.

I was planning on just wearing a large flower in my hair, but now I have someone really special making my veil, so I cannot WAIT to wear it! 🙂

I was dead-set against wearing a veil, but ended up falling in love with a birdcage veil.

wow there seem to be a lot of us in the same boat. I ended up ordering the one I saw on e-bay because of the amazing price and it was ending in a couple hours. I figure if I didn’t I would regret it and this way I’ll have it. I know I’ll end up wearing it for the ceremony and half the pics. I’ll take it off for the reception. I think I’ll end up being happy with this decision! only time will tell!

I never planned to wear a veil, but I was convinced by my mom, friends, and my consultant to try one on when I was buying my dress. I immediately felt way more like a bride. I ended up buying it, though I’m still not !00% sure I’ll be wearing it.

I did not wear a veil. I had awesome hair and didnt want it covered and hidden behind a veil lol. I also felt really unnatural and uncomfortable in them.
