I can understand that a woman about to get married will have a baby and then take maternity leave and days off due to baby being sick and not being able to take overtime. while I don’t obviousy agree with this, but I can imagine the logic. But I don’t understand the time off for wedding and honeymoon idea? does some companies offer this? in my experience if people need time off for wedding or honeymoon they just use their annual leave. If someone asks for extra time off for wedding, the boss can just say no and it is not unreasonable at all.
