Hi Bees,
I have been engaged for a month now. I was wondering if anyone has any good ring care tips or suggestions? I have a white gold ring with chanel set diamonds and micro pave diamonds around the center stone. I want to take the best care of it that I can! It has added sentimental value, seeing as the center stone is the one from my mom’s engagement ring to my dad’s.
Right now, I take it off in the shower, and that’s about it. I know that I probably won’t wear it in the pool. Any other suggestions?

Don’t wear it while you clean.
I pretty much only wear mine when I leave the house.

I take mine off more often than I used to but for sure take it off when cleaning, showering, sleeping, swimming, or working out with metal weights.

I only take mine off when showering and working out. I wear gloves when cleaning.
I’ve read that most people who lose rings are those that take them off and on all the time… when they can’t remember the last place they had it, or when they took it off last.

I only wear mine when I leave the house.. I have a beautiful sterling silver jewelry box that belonged to my great grandmother. I always know where my rings are because I never put them any place else.. but that is a good rule to follow. If you are going to take them off have one specific place to put them otherwise as hippo said, they will get misplaced quite often.
I already cracked my band once, so i am much more careful now… It’s easy to do! Plus the idea of losing a diamond makes me want to vomit. lol

I take mine off to do dishes/clean, shower, for work, if i go to the gym or swimming, basically any activity I feel would put it at risk. I actually don’t take mine off to sleep tho.
When I take it off I place it on a ring holder. That way I know just where it is. I always put it on right after and am always checking that it’s still on my finger.
