Omg how horrible! I can’t believe not one person stopped. Ugh people can be such assholes. I’m so glad he’s ok!

Oh my gosh I’m so glad he’s alive and doing well! This is mostly the reason I don’t want my husband getting a motorcycle. He’s very careful on the roads, but I don’t trust the idiot drivers on the road.

This is terrible! I am glad to hear that he is okay but discusted that people would just drive by.

This reminds me of a time in highschool when my mom and I were driving on a busy street at rush hour and pulled over for a lady that was pulled over, out of her car and screaming for help in the street. EVERYONE DROVE AROUND HER.. there was even cars HONKING at her! It turns out, her daughter was having a seisure in the front seat and never had one before. Luckily she was okay and we called the paramedics but still.. people are way to damn consumed in themselves these days!

I’m glad he is ok! My Fiance and I were on our way home from the grocery store recently and a motorcyclist fell off his bike at the traffic light (literally…just tipped over). Immediately, three cars pulled over to make sure he was ok & to help him lift his bike up. We considered getting out also but the three people seemed to have it under control.

@Brooke1226:  I understand your pain. I’m glad to hear that your Fiance is okay.

I got a call a year and half ago saying that my SO was hit by a car.  While he was on his bicycle.   His arm will never be the same.

The woman who hit him stopped, was very apologetic, and called my SO 30x that nigth to check in on him.  I asked her to do the only thing that mattered-file the claim with her ins company.  She failed to do that.

I’m sorry someone left, it’s a jerk move.  I know what you are going through is hard too.  I’m just soo happy that this story is not as bad as it could have been.  These moments scare the crap out of you because you realize that JUSTLIKETHAT, your Fiance could have been gone by some stupid a**hole not paying attention to the road!!

I’m so sorry that happened! But this is very common- its called the bystander effect. There more people there are around, the less likely anyone in some kind of danger will get helped because everyone relies on the other person to help. Someone would have probably stopped if there was little to no traffic.
