Only in Australia aye, bushfires on one side and floods on the other..

Its really terrible though, I couldnt imagine losing a loved one or my house to a fire or flood. We have had a few fires here but nothing that rips through everything like over there

It was 3 dead last night πŸ™ probably more now. I saw that clip on the news. I can’t believe it, it’s like a repeat of 2011!

Did anyone see the one of the car driving through the foam? I thought that was actually pretty funny.

I am in Brisbane, not close to the river but were close to water getting in to our house, our backyard has poor drainage and was falling faster than it was draining out, a bit tense for a while, but we didn’t get flooded. Lost power for almost two days though.

@Quinlan:  Yeah we are high up luckily and didn’t even come close to being flooded in 2011, some of my friends weren’t so lucky unfortunately.
