Darling Husband and I are doing a mini-vacation to Tofino over Remembrance Day long weekend! Yay! We have a hotel booked right on the beach and it will be the start of storm-watching season so surfing it out of the question lol.
Any bees have suggestions of what to do, where to go, where to eat? We’d like to do a nature walk but not sure where to start/end up? Any help is appreciated!

Tofino is lovely! The last time we went (we just camped for one night), we took some coffee cups filled with wine and did about a 6-hour walk along the beach. It was a lot of fun.

@MrsBananas: It’s been a while since I have been there, but my recall is that there were nature walks by the side of the highway between Tofino and Ucluelet/ They have boardwalks built over the bogs etc. That’s where I learned about “nurse logs”.
Here’s more information:
The local Chowhounds Board has some suggestions for the area:

We are going for the long weekend in Nov too! We went a year or two ago and actually storm-watching season is an AMAZING time to surf! Just make sure you have a good wetsuit with a hood, booties, and gloves – its pretty cold but I hate the cold and I managed to surf for a couple hours in complete comfort (first wave in the face was a shock but generally warm the rest of the time:) and obviously be careful – pay attention to tides/currents and wind/swell warnings.
CHeck out Tourism Tofino.
Also I heard there is a cool natural hot springs around – you might have to take a boat to an island? Not sure as I have never been:)
