Any other brides wearing Toms on their wedding day? Show ’em off!!
I’m wearing a pair of ivory heels for the ceremony, but plan to change into Toms for the reception.
Either these crochet Toms:

Or these classic grey ones:

I love the look of the crochet ones, but I know I’ll have limited use of them in the future due to them being so light, whereas the grey ones I can use for much longer post-wedding.
Let me see yours!!

@caits615: I am! I’m wearing them the entire day. We’re having an outdoor ceremony and reception so I didn’t even want to attempt wearing heels, plust my fiance is only slightly taller than me. Here are mine!

Me and Darling Husband wore toms the entire wedding day! We had a Destination Wedding beach wedding. Wrote on them toms with our names on one side and our wedding date on the other 🙂

@eraff32: Those are so pretty! I adore the color. Have you purchased them? I’ve been told they’re stiffer than the regular Classic Toms, but the reviews don’t say that.

@caits615: I did! They came in just a few days ago. If you’re looking for colored crocheted ones like mine, I found them on Nordstrom.com, they have custom colored crocheted ones! They are a little stiff, so I plan on breaking them in a bit, but not nearly as much as I was anticipating from other reviews. I have plain black ones and these were similar in fit when I first purchased them. Toms do run a little big, I always get a half size smaller than my regular size

@caits615: I just got in my wedding toms yesterday! I am wearing the natural crochet (entire time – I couldn’t walk in heels even if I wanted). I am so excited to get to incorporate this part of me into my wedding. I wear toms in all kinds of colors and styles almost every single day.
Yay for toms brides!

My BFF/MOH wore the dot ones at her wedding, sorry this is the best pic I have of it, then she bought each of the BMs TOMs of their choosing, I wore the pink glitters.

I’m wearing Toms too! My fiance and I are basically the same height, and I’m not a heels person regardless, so it seems like the thing to do. I’ve met with lots of resistance from my bridesmaids and my mom, but I don’t care. It’s happening!

@SilkieChicken: Let’s be serious, no one sees your shoes, unless you’re in a short dress. And Toms are so cute!! Do it, girl!
@eraff32: I think I’m going to get mine from Nordstrom’s b/c of their free shipping and returns. Still debating between the ash and the crochets!

@caits615: SO pretty! I see why you’re having a tough time decided between the two styles of the shoes! I like the crochet ones, I’m a little partial though :] haha

@eraff32: I concur!! I think I’m just going to go for it, even though I know I won’t get as much use out of them. I wish they had like a buy 1 gets the second 1/2 off.

Mine are Toms, but the same style – Bobs by Skechers. They are the “Bob’s World” style which actually fits a little bit wider and has a rubber soled bottom rather than the Toms-style sole, which is more comfortable for my foot. The Bobs Earth Mama style though (the glitter shoes) are the same style sole.
I am VERY happy about this shoe choice! I don’t do heels (and Fiance is the same height as me), and I’m getting married in a time that could possibly be cold or rainy, so sandals weren’t ideal.
If I need to make them slicker for dancing (we’ll find out, dance lessons start next week), I have read you can use gaffers tape on the bottoms.
Here are some side by side photos – the sparkle ones are the Earth Mama and the white ones have silver strands running through them and are the Bob’s World that I’m wearing. The were VERY stiff, very rainbow-y, and not as comfy to me, the white ones are super soft and comfy.
