So, I recently have started WW, and in about a month & a half, I’ve lost 10 pounds (I’m not really big-156 right now. My mom was doing it so i’m kinda following along). I’m really happy, I just can’t lose much weight because I already have my dress and think it will be a pain to alter (there’s beading on the top of it). At the time, I got a 12, and wanted to get a 10, but at the time, I wasn’t a 10 and didn’t know if I’d lose the weight to fit into a 10. I think I might now, and the dress was about $1,000, so I’m not just going to buy it again.
How can I tone up my muscles without losing too much more weight? I’d like to work on my arms especially, my legs and my abs.

Any kind of yoga/pilates would be a GREAT way to tone without necessarily losing weight. You could find a video that you like and do about 10-15 minutes per day…just a thought!

I second pilates. The only thing is, if you tone up enough, you clothes might not fit as well because you could loose inches without losing any weight.

the one issue would be that if there is still fat on your muscles (I don’t know you, so maybe there isn’t any!), the tone ends up being under the muscles and you can’t see it……

Yeah, I have some fat on my belly. that’s true. I really want my arms toned, and then my legs. I guess abs don’t really make sense 🙂
