I’m afraid it’d be too big and would look like a novelty ring = But I’d have to see it on a hand to judge realistically

Going from a 1.27 to almost 10 cts- wow! Honestly I think it looks ostentatious. I saw how your ring looks now and I think it looks perfect. this may end up looking like costume jewelry… Some people like that, tho! I’m personally more into understated in this case.

Your choice as it’s really a personal preference. However, I’ve never seen a rock that big so I would probably assume it’s fake.

@Mrs Canuck:  Personally I like smaller diamonds, I have a 1.01 carat and think anything bigger would be strange.  But it’s all a matter of personal taste.  No matter what, it’s a beautiful ring!

The cut is not my fav, but if you want to rock it and you love it I say go for it. No such thing as too big in my book.

I’m not fond of treated diamonds; I’d rather go smaller and natural.  But if it’s your style, go for it!
