I have a 1.44 in a halo and my finger is size 5. I love the finger coverage. I say go with the 1.5!

I like em big too. I think that size is perfect and definitely not too big! Rose gold is delicious too. Stop second guessing. It’s the thief of joy. Congratulations and come back with pictures when you get it!

BootsLace92:  it looks great on your hand! Also you will be wearing this thing for the rest of your life so you might as well love it. I personally say you get the 1.5 and if anyone is really curious about the size just say it faces up big and its around 1.2 but nobody should be that nosy!

I think with moissy, the larger the stone, the more color (i.e. yellow), you are likely to see.  I have 1 carat moissy earrings, and they definitely look buttery in some lights.  I love them anyway.  I have a size 5.5 finger and my ring (diamond) is 1/3 carats.  I think it is a perfect size, so I’d lean toward the 1.25.  I think you might get less yellow and I just like that size.

BootsLace92:   What a pretty mounting!! The rose gold is perfect for you!  I’d suggest going with the larger stone – once the e-ring is joined by the wedding band, you may experience “shrinkage” of the stone.

Mine should say 1 and 1/3 carats.  Anyway, I think your should read as many as the moissy threads as you can and look at the pictures.  Someone recently just got her ring in, and I think it is in the 1.5 carat range.  It is amazing, but there is definitely color to the ring.  I think you just have to be aware of the with moissy.  Also, I have read the the OEC (old European, I think) cut shows more warmth than a round brilliant cut.  My earring are round brilliant, but unenhanced, and they definitely look yellow in certain lights at the 1 carat size.  Anyway, just a thought. Moissy is moody and really does show much more color than a diamond, and it is more pronounced as you increase stone size.  Many people (me included) think that is a very cool thing about moissy, but you just have to be an aware consumer, I think!
