Sweetie, you don’t look fat at all. I think sometimes as brides we keep picking at things about ourselves because we get so caught up in looking perfect for our wedding. You look beautiful, and I do agree that the flowers should come off.

If you absolutely hate the dress, maybe you can sell it and find something else? There are plenty of options for cheap dresses [ebay, used wedding dresses, even china sellers make beautiful dresses].

@FutureMrsBryan:  i think you look gorgeous!! you do not look fat at all, and i absolutely love your dress.

worse case scenario you try to sell it on recycled bride or something and pick a new one, but you picked this one for a reason right? so stick with it!

The first thing I thought when I saw the picture was “Is she crazy???” You look absolutely wonderful in that dress! It fits you perfect and you look great it in! On a side note…I photograph brides…and a lot of them wear dresses they shouldn’t be wearing or ones that dont look good on them…and I swear, you aren’t one of them!  You look stunning!

@FutureMrsBryan:  YOU are not what’s wrong with the dress, you are no where NEAR fat! If you don’t like it, (yes take the flower off!) & take it to a wonderful seamstress & she will make it into everything you love. They are magic I swear lol

I think that this being said by a size 12/14 bride unintentionally puts down a lot of larger brides.  I wore a size 18 dress and felt really beautiful on my wedding day.

This is all in your head, OP.  It looks great on you, though I might also take off the flowers.

Looking at these pictures, it really doesn’t feel like you’re the problem – it’s the dress! I would first follow the advice and remove the flowers. Then, can you do something with the dress to accentuate your waist? I feel like it disappears a little as the top continues over your hips. Perhaps you can take the dress to a seamstress, have her detach some of the fabric to lift the hip area and flatten the skirt to flatter your body shape better?

You look fantastic. There is NOTHING fat about you.

I’m a bridal size 20 so I guess I must have looked horribly disgusting then.

@FutureMrsBryan:  I agree you don’t look fat at all.  I too am so hyper critical of my weight and size.  It seems no matter what I do, I just don’t like the way I look.  If you don’t mind is your street size or dress size a 12/14??  You do not look that size at all.  I am about the same size, and I hope that I look that good in my dress!!

Your dress is beautiful, but I don’t like the flowers.  But other than the flowers, the dress is beautful and you look beautiful wearing it!

If you’re fat, I’m morbidly obese.

It also looks like it could use a steam press or something, like someone just bunched it up and stuffed it in a bag.
