I’ve felt the same EXACT way! I have recently put on some weight and I feel absolutely awful about myself. I wanted to cry when I tried on my dress–cry. I think you look AMAZING and sometimes we are our own worst critic–everyone will think that you’re beautiful and radiant. I hope you can see that objectively you’re probably being a bit hard on yourself.

You are not fat at all!!!
I think you get lost under all that fabric to be honest. I think that style of dress is just overall hard to pull off and maybe that’s why you feel that way. Have you tried other styles of dresses….I seriously think it looks like you prob have an amazing figure hiding under all that material. I say you should show it off!

I know we’re all our own worst critics, but seriously, you look BEAUTIFUL in that dress and nowhere near “too big.” Like, I’d never think that in a million years.
I will say that when I tried my dress on without really doing my hair or makeup, I didn’t feel as great as when I actually curled my hair and put some makeup on. But if you’re rocking that dress, along with your wedding day hair, makeup, and accessories, along with the whole blushing-bride effect, there’s NO way you won’t be absolutely stunning!

You DO NOT look fat! And if you still think you do, I have one word for you – SHAPEWEAR!

I think you look beautiful!

@FutureMrsBryan: beauty comes from inner self esteem; it is how you wear it.
I do not think me telling you how beautiful you look in that dress will make you feel any better about yourself. Take the time to appreciate yourself. =)

Ok, I opened this and to be completely honest, was expecting a horrible looking picture of someone, but when I saw your picture I literally said out loud, “WHAT?!” You ook FANTASTIC. Holy smokes. I know we all have body issues in some way, but they are almost always unwarranted. No different for you. You really do look great.

Size 12-14 is not FAT!!! You are beautiful!
I am a 12-14 and I would rather be this size than look emaciated and have people thinking to themselves, “give that girl a sandwich”…

@FutureMrsBryan: You…look… beautiful!! I’m not saying this just because either, I truely mean every single word. You don’t look fat, you look like a REAL BEAUTIFUL woman. I’m a willowy branch of a girl and you have no idea how I try to have those beautiful curves you have! As for the dress I think with a few fixes you might get it to something you might like, for example, with the flower which I won’t deny I’m not too much of a fan for. Do you think you an take it to a seamstress? She might be able to tweak a few things to get it to the look you’re looking for?

I’m not going to lie… When I clicked this post, I as expecting someone HUGE. You look beautiful, not big at all. You don’t even have the weird armpit muffin-tops that would put you in the running for “too big.”
My hairstylist, when I was like 15 and going homecoming dress shopping, told me to go get my make up done before I tried on anything because when you don’t feel good about how you look, you’ll never like a single dress you try on. Maybe just do your hair and make-up in ways that make you feel beautiful THEN try on your dress.
Hope this helps 🙂

My goodness you do not look fat at all!!! Other than taking the flowers off, I think this dress looks very flattering on you! 🙂

You’re crazy! Ditch the flowers, get thyself a pair of Spanx to smooth our your lines (that bodice wouldn’t be forgiving on ANYONE), and enjoy your day!
Have you thought about accessories?

You definitely don’t look fat at all! I agree with everyone else on loosing the flowers. And also taking it for a few alterations, but overall it looks great on you.
I also agree with a PP about losing just 5-10 making a huge difference if you truely aren’t comfortable with your weight.
My wedding is the day after yours!! I am actually about the same size as you and my goal is to be 10 pounds lighter for the wedding. That’s just a little more than a pound a month – it can be done!

+1, you deserve to have a dress you love.
