I really really hate it when normal sized women moan and whine that they’re “too fat.”

puhleeze.

I probably weigh 100 pounds more than you, so if you think you’re fat at a size 12, I must be a Titanic sized whale at size 20.

LISTEN UP… I’m dead serious.. you do not look FAT/UGLY in the slightest bit. And I can GUARENTEE YOU that I’m not one of those people that will say this just to be nice.. especially since I don’t even know you lol. I’m always up front with my friends and they know I’m the friend to come to when they want an HONEST opinion. Now I can say I’m not a HUGE fan of this particular dress… and a different style might be more flattering, but you do not look the slightest bit overweight. I do think if you took off the flowers it would help the look. Also, maybe try to add a sparkly belt? It will make your waist look even smaller and it might help your view of yourself.

Good luck!

@JaneyDcat:  it’s not about your actual size that makes you think that you look fat.. It’s all about personal opinion & the way you feel about yourself.

I’m also bigger than this beautiful bride to be (size 16/18) but MY pet peeve is when bigger girls tell ME not to say I feel fat. Guess what, I’m still not a size 2. Just because I feel fat and am smaller than the person I’m talking to, doesn’t mean I can’t feel that way about myself.

Geez.

I hate when girls post about being fat, when they know they aren’t. They are just fishing for compliments. I’ve seen it a lot on here. I don’t really think that is the case this time, but after looking at the picture, I would have never guessed a 12-14. And I will say that the subject line is kinda crappy. Anyone can be beautiful.

I don’t think I”ve ever met a woman who doesn’t have some body issues.

That being said, the thread title on this one is what has miffed me.  “Too big to be a beautiful bride.”  Posted by soemone who is roughly half my size.

Again…that’s just my opinion, and yeah, I did feel offended that someone would think that size 12 is much too large to be beautiful.  I’m disgusted at myself and the rest of the world for making someone who is clearly NOT a full-figured woman feel like she is heavy.

I would have guessed you were a size 8. You are a beautiful bride and the dress fits you perfectly. I wish my dress fit me like that, you don’t even have back fat. I would not take off the flowers I would just have them re-done so they look more like roses and the dress could maybe be lenghthend a little in the skirt but it looks wonderful on you!

@radar:  yep! A size 12-14 here is a US 8.

OP, you and I are about the same size.

I agree that it kind of looks like that dress is wearing you.  You do however seem to have awesomely shaped arms – so rock those! Get a pair of trim n lift or get to a stuttafords and get some flexees, even if it’s just to make you feel better. As far as the dress goes – get rid of the flowers and pickups like others suggested.

You look beautiful! Don’t be so hard on yourself- is there any dress you tried on and loved yourself in? You have to love your body or you might not be happy in anything, and you seriously look great! It’s a hard style dress to pull off.

I don’t think she ws saying it to put down ladies of a bigger size. I’m the same size and 4ft 11 and I’ve been thinner which I miss .

I’ve photoshopped the flowers off for you Hopefully this isn’t taken offensive. Just wanted to add that change so you’ll feel better about your dress 🙂

@FutureMrsBryan:  I can tell that you aren’t overweight, I think the dress isn’t doing much for your shape and it would do the same thing to me too.
