I think they’re adorable, but much too casual for a black tie wedding. Sorry! 🙁

Yes unfortunately I think they are too casual. Stick to evening or cocktail style dresses for black tie.

Yep, way too casual for black tie.

Found this super cutesy little number for $20 at H&M.  It also comes in a pretty red/pink color.  It has a little vintage feel to me.  Maybe this?

I agree those dress are too informal for a blacktie, I do think you can get a vintage floral dress, but in different material that more suitable for nighttime.

Way too casual for black tie.  You should be wearing cocktail dresses at the very least.

I think the forever 21 is inappropriate too, it looks like a dress for a night out not  a black tie event.

All of those dresses are super cute, but definitely not appropriate for black tie.  I actually think if the attire is black tie, you should wear longer dress – not above the knee.

I don’t think you have to wear a long gown, I don’t really like gowns. I think the length on those dresses are acceptable. I found that it’s split between long gowns and cocktail/tea length dresses.

definitely too casual…. you need at the very least a more formal cocktail dress…

Theyre very cute for a garden wedding but definitely not suitable for a black tie wedding.

I’m going to agree with everyone else and say that it’s too informal for a black tie wedding. I also think the H&M one wouldn’t be suitable either.

Cute dresses, but definitely too casual.  I also think the H&M one is too informal as well.  Black tie usually means ball gown or full-length dress.  However, I think you could probably get away with a very nice and dressy cocktail dress.
