So, we are having a BBQ Buffet style dinner, with an outdoor May 2012 wedding. The caterer and I have coordinated the menu ( pulled pork, chicken , briskett, 4 sides including mac and cheese, beans, mashed potatoes and potato salad, cheesy bread, salad and a few other things in the way of conditments/drinks.) They are also going to have thier staff man the app station while we are getting our pictures taken.. We will have cheese, crackers, fruit and the bar will be open so people can have something to eat/drink while we hastily take our pics. So I wanted something to put on the tables since it won’t be set like a plated dinner. Is it cheesy to do a Thank You card at each place setting. Of course they wont replace actual cards we would send in the mail, but just something to show our appreciation while they’re there. My thought with BBQ/messy food is that it is a laid back atmosphere with family and close friends. What do y’all think of this draft? Haven’t ordered anything as of right now…
Back, although this part would be centered and of course bigger font so you could read it!:
Too cliche??? Thoughts? Sorry I can’t make the pictures any bigger~

I think it is really cute. It’s similar to what I often see (and what we had) on the back of our programs.

@Mrs.KMM: I have seen it on WB and other sites, but I haven’t ever been to a wedding where they had them so I thought it may be something different/sweet for the guests.. thanks!

Its defintely cute, but I voted to save the money.
On second thought, go for it.

Do it! They are sweet and I would appreciate the gesture 🙂

Do it! I’m planning on doing these as part of the place setting, and also as a place to put the card explaining our “favor” (which is a donation in honor of our guests).

@bklynbridetobe: LOL… well I have a coupon from 123print.com since I did my STD’s through them so total for 250 place cards is $40 that includes shipping, so it would save some $$ in the budget as a whole but it won’t sink us haha
@sarahbabs: I hope people feel special.. that I what I want them to feel! I want people to feel like we took the time to make sure they knew we appreciated them being there
@atalante: that is a great favor! I like that!
