It is perfect. Berries flourish that time of year, so those red and purple berry tones are great choices. Perhaps you could keep things on the brighter side by using a creamy white or softer, lighter pastel pinks and purples to offset the richness. Like berries and cream! πŸ™‚ Mmm…I am craving a parfait now…

That’s always been one of my favorite color combinations. And if you stretch the imagination, it’s almost red and blue (for 4th of July), but classier. πŸ™‚ Just for fun, here’s another board for you (this one adds some black & white):
