8 is a good time, you always want to give yourself more time and not less! it will probably take a few hours for hair and makeup, and you want to make sure you have some good chilling out time before the ceremony

Hair usually takes about an hour per gal, depending on how long and thick hair is and whats being done to it.  For 3 of us, my hairstylist started at 9 and we were ready to roll after 12 noon.  I agree with auggiefrog, more time is best and you can chill out.  It will especially take less time if you have more then one stylist.

Yea, you should go last (unless you need to set your hair with rollers or anything like that). I think your time is just about right. You’ll probably still feel like there’s not enough time! lol.

@Mrs.H2B:  Absolutely you can!  I had my make-up done first then was the last one to get my hair done.

I don’t think that is too early, but it depends on how many hairstylists they have, if you are doing pics before the ceremony, etc. My girls’ appointments start at 9 am for a 4 pm wedding.

@Mrs.H2B:  8 is not early at all. You need time for your girls to get ready and take pictures.

I had 3 bridesmaids (out of 6) plus my mom come with me and our appt was at 9. My ceremony was at 2:30. It was perfect. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

Definitely think it’s enough not too early. I haven’t booked mine yet but I’m in a wedding in this year and we’re starting at 6:30am (!!!!!!!!!) for a noon ceremony. We do need to leave at 11:15 the latest to make it to the church in time though.

Mhm, time goes by quite fast. With 5 bridesmaids, you and well, the other stuff, I would say at least you have a while all together if something crucial would come up!

I dont think its too early.. I am a hair stylist, and it drives me nuts when people make their hair appointment a couple hours before the wedding, it makes me feel too rushed, which means I can’t do my best work. I think 8 oclock is a reasonable time!
