I bought these Badgley Mishka Carlo shoes online from Heels just over a month ago. I love them, I tried them on when I first got them and they were super high but I am used to wearing high heels and I kidded myself into thinking that I could wear them in and practise wearing them. I cant they are just too high.
Apart from being devastated because I love them so much. i am also gutted because they were expensive and I have no Idea where I put the recipt plus I am pretty sure you have to return them in 30 days.
I guess now I have too options, sell them on here or ebay (they are a size 5.5 if anyone is interested) or die them black. What would you do?
Also can anyone suggest some 3 inch or lower heels.
i kinda like these Martinez Valleros

Ooo they are pretty. And almost my size! ( I wear a 4.5 or a 5) but I can’t walk in very high heels either…
Dying them black will do nothing for the height- and if you can’t walk in them when they are white you won’t be able to walk in them when they are black either.
If you ordered them online do you think they keep a history of orders if you made an account? Or did they email you a receipt? Maybe you can figure something out. If not I would put them in weddingbee classifieds.
As for other options- I love love Hey Lady, although those are really steep.

Thank you. I should of had a better look.
As for dyeing them black. I could wear them out to dinner or something, just not all day, I am used to high heels but these are nuts,

Some shoesmiths are able to take a little bit of height off the heel if you go in and show them the shoes – that might be something worth doing. It may only be 1/2″-1″ that they can get off but that could make all the difference!

I was about to suggest what littlemissmoo said. Or you could change into some other heels for the reception? I am in ridiculous 5 inch heels or something like that so I have backups that I am going to tuck away somewhere just in case.

They don’t have very good arch support. I was consider a pair from their current season and a couple of friends told me they were highly uncomfortable. Sucks cause they are so pretty. Maybe you could try padding on the soul for more support?

I just tried them on again, and I love them soo much I might take them to the shoe repair man and see if he can adapt them. Its not the heigh as much as the arch support.
