    i like the idea, but do you have a wedding website you could put the picture on? to keep the event itself focused on you, and maybe you could post a bit about why it is important to you etc.

    I think if you include pictures it will bring in that uncomfortable feeling you get when the commercials come on tv. I commend you for such an awesome idea because that’s wonderful but I think the text or even an announcement could help too!

    Stick to words but perhaps there is a website you can direct them to to “meet” the child you are sponsoring.  I would want to see the child on my own time.  I think that would be a nice compromise, no sad pic but if you are interested check the website out.

    Maybe do a photo of Africa (not necessarily of the child) & explain the charity & why instead. Its an awesome idea thou, good for you 🙂
