Sooo… As any bride to be I love discussing my wedding plans with my close friends and family. I have had two or three of them tell me that I have “too many colors” planned out for my wedding… My dress is white with silver and I am wearing all white gold jewelry, my BMs are in a blue dresses, my cake is light blue, the BMs flowers are pink, my Maid/Matron of Honor will have purple flowers to stand out as she has the same exact dress, centerpieces will be blue tea lights with pink and purple flowers, my bouquet will be white with silver ribbon, we have blue sashes on the chairs… you get the picture. I really dont feel that we have too many colors but don’t really know… What do you think??

Sounds like your colors are blue, purple and pink, which I think is fine. Just because you’re using different shades doesn’t mean it’s all different colors. Plus I don’t consider white one of the colors…or silver, for that matter.

That is what I was thinking but I have been really stessed out lately with WICKED anxiety and have been so unsure of myself…

You could have a wedding that looks like a unicorn vomited a rainbow all over it, and it’s just fine because it’s your day!
For the record, it sounds to me like you have 3 colors. That’s not too many.

I agree, it sounds like you only have three colors which is perfectly fine! Tell them to leave you alone

I’m doing an ombre effect going from plum to red to coral to peach to blush, plus champagne gold, creme, black, and a stripe… 🙂 I think you’re fine! Tell your friends you’re actually moderate compared to the crazy lady on weddingbee…
