I am in love with the purple color bridesmaid dresses I found from davids bridal. I plan on having my Bridesmaid or Best Man pay for their dresses but am keeping the dress under 150 $ . Im also not making them get fake nails and pro hairstyles but the girls they are I know they will because they dig the glamour of it. Anyways .. im not crazy about any of the flowers I find in purple. I want bright colors for flowers.I love the pink and orange bouquets ive found on the internet. Is that adding too many colors though? My centerpiece s are not boquets they will just be petals floating in water in a tall vase with a candle and sprinkled on the table. I cannot find any pink and orange bright dresses they are less popular for some reason and I just feel the purple ones are more elegant and grown up and feel the pink and orange dresses remind me of prom.
So, bright purple (nolavender) dresses with pink and orange boquets is that too much colors??

I don’t think so at all 🙂

I think those colors can totally work.

I think it can totally work, however.. how do you plan on working your reception?
IMO you’ll need to have another color to bring everything together [like black, white, ivory, or even tan], and using the bright purple, pink & orange as accents.
I say this because only having the 3 colors at your reception would be very overwhelming. Here’s some inspiration:
Notice the black tableclothes, pulling everything together, and breaking things up a bit :
Here we have white added in [and periwinkle]
Here they added grey :

We are currently considering a purple/yellow colour scheme with pink, orange and red accents (probably only in the flowers!) so no, I don’t think this will be too much! I think it will be amazing 🙂

@jenilynevette We plan on having white table cloths and white chair covers… we want to do sahses on the chairs to bring in the colors of the wedding, so maybe purple sashes ? and then have the pink and purple rose petals.. I got my centerpiece idea from another bee..
So i was thinking I could have our bouquets be pink and orange and the flower petals on the centerpieces be pink and orange…. have purple dresses and purple sashes… The white would be the tie in color then? what do you think!?
EDIT: WE ALSO CAN DO COLOR NAPKINS. SO I CAN TRY TO MAKE ALL THE COLORS COORDINATE WITH THAT TOO!
thanks for your help ladies!

@gpsp2B: I think that’d be great then! Those colors would look lovely on white. I think sometimes ladies go a little crazy with the colors and it just looks like a hot mess!
I think sashes would be great!

And I’m doing the same centerpieces!
Well, martini centerpieces & bud vases, I had commented on your martini glass centerpeices before!
We are going to fill them with water beads, led lights, & put a fresh floral arragement on top, like this.. except in ivory & a mix of pinks.

ohhh okay cool! that will work out well! we are trying to save money by not doing the crazy flower arangements and I really like how its less common with the martini glasses and such! I’m crazy excited yay!
