I like dress B
I like dress B
F an K! are so stunning on you… seriously……… STUNNING they give me dress envy lol
M is my favorite!
H & A
H, K and L
whoa girl that is a lot of dresses! I like A, M & H. A lot of the others are similar and dont have a lot of structure in the top and its not doing more for your shape (IMO).
leah0817: Holy cow that is some list! You must win some kind of prize!
Here are my thoughts:
A: It’s not a style I particularly like but that doesn’t matter. It does look good on your body. It’s unlike all of your other dresses though so I wonder if it’s really you?
B: It’s hard for me to imagine what it really looks like on you as it’s so big on you. Right now I’m not a fan because of my lack of imagination as to what it’s supposed to look like.
C: Better than B, but it’s hard to judge due to lack of front photo. I like it from what I can make out.
D: I think it would be too hot to wear in summer. It’s a no from me.
E: Again, a bit hard to judge from lack of front photo. It seems like the extra layers of the skirt are adding bulk to your frame without really defining your waist.
F: Like. Actually, I like even more the second photo when the skirt is poofed out more. This says to me that the dress would look better with a slip under it.
G: My least favourite. It looks like someone stuffed up the fabric and forgot to match the bodice and skirt.
H: Like. I think the waistline is in the right place for you. Though possibly it’s more suitable for an evening wedding.
I: I don’t really like the mini peplum thing.
J: Like – but I think the waistline is too low. Needs to be an inch or too higher up, at your natural waist. Like F, I think it would look better with a slip.
K: I like the silhouette on you but I don’t really like the lace pattern. That’s just my taste though.
L: I also like the silhouette on you – I like the dresses that are a bit more fitted. But I also feel the waistline is too low. Would possibly be fixeable with alterations. The back is fantastic though so this has real possibility. Also, your butt looks great in it. *blushes*
M: No. Waistline too low again, and the high neck knocks the dress out of proportion.
N: Nice. Again, I think it would be better poofed out with a slip. It’s a bit shapeless at the moment.
O: My thoughts are similar to N. I’d like to see it with a slip.
So overall, I think I like you better in the dresses that are more fitted – K and L – they show off your body better.
Out of the non-fitted dresses, I like the ones that have a skirt in a more rigid fabric that holds its shape better because they also give your body more shape by defining your waist better.
A &H are my faves
A – really unusual design, stylish as heck, looks fantastic on your lovely figure.
A is a stand –out dress and you wear it well. It’s a bit different to the others, so if you’re after a statement, this might be the one. Your body suits crochet, which I personally prefer to lace. But it’s the kind of dress you fall in love with straight away, not one you have to be persuaded into.
People won’t be nice about B because you’re standing badly in it. Was that because you weren’t sure about it? Because actually if you stood up straight it could look very good on you.
H is my own favourite dress, simply because it’s the most fancy and bridal and wedding-y, but that’s my own taste.
E is pretty. I’m not sure what you’re supposed to wear underneath (if anything?). But you’d be the woman to pull this style off. I like the pattern of the lace a lot.
K is just ok. Unless your wedding is very casual, I find it a bit too revealing from the back, and too boring from the front. Not unflattering though- you have the body for it, if you want to wear it.
I like L and M on you- the shape of them works nicely on your slender body. The nice thing about being slim and smaller busted is that you can wear dresses like the higher necked ones like M that we curvier bustier women can’t get away with. The bow on M is lovely. Both of these dresses have that belt which makes them a bit of a step up in terms of looking ‘special occasion’ enough, too. M is a bit low waisted but I don’t think that matters as much as some might think when it’s overall such a hit. L is my favourite on you. The back view of L is very flattering.
I would put J up with L as joint favourite. It’s a beautiful dress and less casual than some of these dresses.
I like D- it has a very boho vibe to it. I can see a catwalk model wearing this kind of thing to her wedding. You look cool in this. And the back view is perfect. But will you be too warm in the sleeves? F also has that boho look and suits you well.
Sorry but I really don’t like N on you- it’s a dress that needs curves. It’s showing way too much bare chest, once you take off the underwear. I think if you’re smaller busted, the way to show off a chest is to have a deep V on a tank top, not a spaghetti strap sweetheart neck. This is someone else’s dress. The same for G which is not good at all on the bodice. A sweetheart neck like this does absolutely nothing for your shape. And I love the idea of two tone but this dress looks a bit nothingy and cheap (although may be better in real life).
PS. I like the fact you have your own very definite slinky style, as seen in all these pretty similar dresses. I find it really annoying when someone like you comes on here with such an obvious sense of what you love, and someone above says none of them are flattering. It’s so untrue. I think it comes from the common American idea that if you are remotely slim you have to wear a sweetheart mermaid. Madness!
H and L are my favorites!
I really like N, J, H and L on you.
eta also A looks great on you, but not so bridal imho
J and N!
