I had six kids and it was so much fun! All I heard were negative comments about having the children and I even had photographers refuse to do our wedding due to that fact but it turned out so great and they were so good and so cute!

You can never have too many kids be part of your wedding!

They are joy defined! They can only add even more happiness to a happy day imo.

This is your wedding and you should do whatever makes you happiest!  We are having 3 kids in our wedding and I would never want more than that but it’s whatever floats your boat on your special day!

I think that’s a lot of potential for something to go wrong. But kids are cute so guess that will add something.

I had 7–3 flower girls, 1 ringbearer, 3 jr groomsmen.  Due to ages and personalities, we had low expectations for a couple of them. They all did just great and had a blast at the reception.

@roxy821: You had photographers refuse to do your wedding because of the kids? Seriously? I would consider that fortunate – any photographer who is scared by the idea of “too many children” is probably not a good photographer! That tells me they are uncomfortable in situations where they cannot control the poses/shots, and aren’t good at capturing “real” candid moments. Good riddance.

@cubaneli: There’s no such thing as “too many” or “too few” – it’s a matter of your personal choice. You should, however, accept the fact that you can’t control all those kids, and it won’t be “perfect.” To me, that’s the charm in having the kids – you get funny, unexpected moments. My entire wedding party consisted of kids (our nieces and nephews, plus his daughter and young cousin as our MOH/BM), and I told them to walk up the aisle however they chose. One of my nieces/bridesmaids decided to skip; another one twirled her parasol as she walked. I thought that was adorable and showed their unique personalities. 🙂

@NotYourTypicalBride:  I’m not a fan of kids in weddings but I have to admit, this picture is fantastic.  You did an amazing job picking colors and coordinating everyone!!  Very very cool.

Also, not sure if I’ve told you this before, but you’re wearing the dress I’m trying to hunt down 🙂  You look lovely!
