So i’m having a lot of kids involved in the wedding….
3 flower girls (FI’s little 2nd cousins)
a “mini bride”
an opening the ceremony girl,
a ring barrer
a “mini groom” (my little 2nd cousin)
my two little nephews walking with my little 2nd cousin
6 girls & 4 boys
TOTAL: 10 kids!!!
idk? too much??
the 3 flower girls!! This was a year ago, they are much bigger now! :]
my 2 nephews! they are almost walking already, but by the wedding they should be ok….
thats why i’m having them walk with my little 2nd cousin, so they dont fall and walk straight down the isle.. here is my little cousin that will be walking with them. :]
The mini groom, My little cousin!
and here is the mini bride, the ring barer, and the opening ceremony girl :]
i really LOVE all of them & i am a part time nani (to the last 3) but do you think there is too many kids involved???
I D K bees, tell me what you think!?

I had six kids and it was so much fun! All I heard were negative comments about having the children and I even had photographers refuse to do our wedding due to that fact but it turned out so great and they were so good and so cute!

You can never have too many kids be part of your wedding!
They are joy defined! They can only add even more happiness to a happy day imo.

@roxy821:thanks! I think it will be very cute… i’m gonna have them all sit during the ceremony (except for the ring barer) so they dont get too tired and cranky, also, most of them are little wedding pro’s lol
The only ones who have never participated is the ring barer and my 2 little nephews :]
& honestly, i dont mind if the babies make a little show! i think that would be cute and memorable! :]
thanks for your post! :]

Yours will be wonderful!

I think that’s a lot of potential for something to go wrong. But kids are cute so guess that will add something.

All of them are absolutely adorable!

I had 7–3 flower girls, 1 ringbearer, 3 jr groomsmen. Due to ages and personalities, we had low expectations for a couple of them. They all did just great and had a blast at the reception.

It could be bigger – this was my cousins bridal party

@roxy821: You had photographers refuse to do your wedding because of the kids? Seriously? I would consider that fortunate – any photographer who is scared by the idea of “too many children” is probably not a good photographer! That tells me they are uncomfortable in situations where they cannot control the poses/shots, and aren’t good at capturing “real” candid moments. Good riddance.
@cubaneli: There’s no such thing as “too many” or “too few” – it’s a matter of your personal choice. You should, however, accept the fact that you can’t control all those kids, and it won’t be “perfect.” To me, that’s the charm in having the kids – you get funny, unexpected moments. My entire wedding party consisted of kids (our nieces and nephews, plus his daughter and young cousin as our MOH/BM), and I told them to walk up the aisle however they chose. One of my nieces/bridesmaids decided to skip; another one twirled her parasol as she walked. I thought that was adorable and showed their unique personalities. 🙂

@NotYourTypicalBride: I’m not a fan of kids in weddings but I have to admit, this picture is fantastic. You did an amazing job picking colors and coordinating everyone!! Very very cool.
Also, not sure if I’ve told you this before, but you’re wearing the dress I’m trying to hunt down 🙂 You look lovely!
