To be honest, I love the bracelet, and the idea of a small sparkly touch in your hair…

The shoes are also fine because they won’t show very much.

But the earrings and crystal belt are too much for me. If I were you, I’d pick more dainty earrings and I don’t think the dress needs the belt.

The pic of the dress isn’t very close-up on the detail-there’s a lot of sparkle on the dress already, right?

If there are too many bling elements it kind of takes away from the overall impact I think.

@winerygirl: πŸ™‚ Why not save the earrings for other outfits? They would be perfect for a night out or with another dress…they won’t go to waste.

I’m sure you could find more subtle earrings for a good price too…i’ll do some searching and get back to you.

I also think fixing the sash as is would be better rather than adding the crystal one..

I’ll get back to you in a bit with some earrings πŸ™‚

I mean, for me…. yeah. Everything you have going on there is bling. I’d keep the bracelet and maybe something small in your hair. The earrings and belt are a little much though.

What about finding some small earrings that are pearl and rhinestone? I think that would be a bit more subtle.

Something like this?

@Evie19: I love those earrings, I have been looking at something like that for my wedding. Thanks for sharing that link. Etsy is just simply amazing!

That was the bracelet I had picked out foreverrr.  I bought a different one tho =P.  I have several items from swarovski. <3 it.

How do you plan to wear your hair?  I think if plan to wear it fully down you can use those earrings.  If your going to pull it back more I would suggest something a bit more simpler.  If you cant return them can you at least exchange them?

I would contact swarovski if your pass the 14 day mark.  Your earrings were pretty pricey and I cant find anything close in range that I think would work. If you could exchange them you will probably loose money butt its better than spending more on a new pair.

These are nice:

The earrings are very pretty.  Maybe you could wear them and the bracelet but do a more subtle sash and hairpiece?  I love the dress by the way!

@winerygirl: If you’re going to keep the earrings and still do something in your hair, ditch the sash and go with no necklace. That will balance it out a little, I think. I’d do something really simple in your hair, nothing too big or elaborate.

You want your guests to look at your beautiful, glowing face and gorgeous dress, not all your accessories.

That’s a LOT going on. I’d probably only do earrings and the shoes.

No ones going to see the shoes so those dont really factor in. I’d say the sash is probably taking it over the top and I’d stick with something more toned down like the dress already has. I wore sparkly earrings, a bracelet and a hair comb at the reception and I definitely don’t think it was overkill.
