elderberry :  I find it rather funny that you would attempt to put someone down who is only lifting others up! Lol!

mrstodd2bee :  I agree 100%!

That salon needs a big wake up call. OP has a gorgeous figure and picked a beautiful dress, but the salon did her dirty on that fit. If it was their staff that orchestrated the fitting, they need to make it right, no matter how close to the wedding.

Wow that’s one blessed chest! God did not hold back on you when handing out the boobie genes. I think it doesn’t fit properly in that department, could you get a seamstress to add something like this to the dress? Doesn’t have to be as long of sleeves but I think the lace would look lovely on this dress, good luck!

Honestly, l had no intention of ‘putting down’ anybody. It was only a musing really, and partly wanting op not to feel comments were about her personally.
We should probably drop this, for derailing purposes don’t you think.?

tineetoes :  that’s an impressive bra, looks way less likely that your breasts will pop out of your dress! 👍

tineetoes :  it’s hard to tell since you’re in a shadow.  It seems a little better but your girls are still shoved up a bit high and you need more coverage–at least an inch and a half higher above the bust line of sturdy, opaque coverage–not lace.  If you want to do a minimal fix, please go with the trim method I mentioned, by attaching a line of decorative satin along the top edge of the gown.  It is not very time consuming, is minimally invasive, and it will provide functional coverage which you need to hold you in.  You don’t want your boobs spilling out of your gorgeous dress.  And the bustline is still too small.  Please consider the satin edging.  Don’t risk trying to wear it as is and risk a nip slip and your guests feeling uncomfortable for seeing more of you than they wanted to.  They want to see you, but not ALL of you.

tineetoes :  it’s not as much cleavage but it is still clear that the cups are far too small. It’s giving the dress a too small look even though it fits you lovely everywhere else. I second PPs suggestion of a topper or an addition around the cups.

tineetoes :  honestly you look amazing and the second picture is much more flattering than the first. either way if you feel comfortable in it you should wear it and stop worrying about what all these other experts think. I have large breasts too and at my first wedding my boobs were falling out of my dress by the end of the night lol. just make sure it’s tightened well and that when you lift your arms nothing crazy happens ! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

It’s still too small up top I’m sorry to say. It looks better but I think it’s still too revealing and you could use some more coverage

I can’t believe the salon screwed up so badly

It’s definitely better, but I would still make the shop do something about the fit at the top. The rest of the dress is such a beautiful fit, and the top just detracts from the rest of it. The shop is all sorts of on the hook for that.

Most impotantly, how does it FEEL? Can you do some test dancing around in your house for a bit and see how secure it is? If it doesn’t feel like it will stay up/be comfortable enough without you worrying about it all night, you should 100% go back to the shop with it and tell them it’s not okay.

The new pic is better, but if its not even laced properly its hard to say how it will actually look.

The new picture is a lot better but it’s still obvious that whoever ordered the dress messed up badly. And since the dress isn’t even fully laced, and that picture is in a much darker room, I’m still really concerned that your wedding photos are going to look more like the original picture.

I highly recommend you order a topper like the ones PPs have shown, just in case. It would be beautiful and take care of this problem, and it’s a good backup plan. But first and foremost, I think you should be talking to the bridal shop and your tailor about fixing this asap. They messed up so badly and it’s their job to correct it.

I’m sorry you are having to deal with this so close to your wedding.

First of all, you have an INCREDIBLE figure. As a very busty gal myself, it’s too much. Looks at least a couple cup sizes too small – they must’ve odered the wrong size. I’m sorry. 🙁

I am going to go against the grain and say I think the dress fits fine. You look fabulous and it is not too revealing. I don’t agree that you need a topper. You have big boobs, your guests  know you have big boobs, so I’m not sure why you need a topper. I  think it looks a million times better with the bra and you are not spilling out of your dress. I would just reccommend moving around with it and dancing to make sure that there’s no change of a boob falling out.

I hope your wedding is wonderful and I hope stress over this dress doesn’t ruin the last few weeks before your wedding! You look great!
