@Missus_LLC:  I drink even more water than you, but I just pee a lot instead of feeling bloated. Do you eat a lot of sodium? I feel like I get REALLY bad when I eat salty stuff because then my body does hold onto those liters and liters of water I put in. Usually water just flushes me right out, though. I think the point at which a lot of water becomes too much water is measured in gallons (plural) and not liters, so my guess is it’s not necessarily that!

@Missus_LLC:  I drink probably over 100 oz a day.  I constantly use the bathroom though and never feel that bloated unless it’s gas or whatever.  There is a possibility of drinking too much but in a short period of time which can cause water intoxication.  This is not your case though.  I would watch your sodium intake.

I would definitely check your sodium intake.  I drink a TON of water and it actually makes me feel unbloated…not the other way around 😉

@Missus_LLC:  you need to take a look at your sodium intake. That’s going to keep you bloated. My mom has had issues with this her whole life and it’s recently gotten worse. I’ll just say that pretty much all Americans take in WAY too much sodium because pretty much EVERYTHING we eat and use to cook with has tons of salt in it (even if you don’t taste it). The reccomended amt per day is something like 2300mg. I’d do some research online for some more verified info on the amount you should be taking in and what foods are surprisingly high in sodium.

Edit: I just saw your post. You need to also look at the salt already in the food.. not just the salt you add. You’d be surprised. Also if it’s not the salt maybe look into eating yogurt?? OH and add lemon to your water, that’s also supposed to help.

I have a short torso and when I drink a lot of water (and pee a lot) I can easily see how bloated I am.  I guess it just shows more easily on me.

Is your torso short?   (<— lol what an odd question…)

very good article shows some shocking foods with sodium! also I’ve been told, if you don’t necessarily want to look at counting mg of sodium. just look at the % per serving… and keep that as close to or lower than 10% And RARELY should you be going over 20%

@Missus_LLC:  Skipping breakfast could definitely be part of your problem..you need to eat in the morning to jump start your metabolism!
