Darling Husband and I are going out on a little date because it’s our 2 monthaversary (help him if he forgets it’s a date). It’s not a big thing, but since I rarely get out and the weather is *so* nice, I wanted to look cute. I have this gorgeous embroidered denim miniskirt I bought too long ago, and was thinking about wearing it. I’m only 24, and I look 17, but that might not make it better. I just don’t wanna look gross. Haha. Kinda feeling self conscious because I’m pretty sure it’s too short.
Also, these photos look awkwardly 12y/o Myspace-ish. I promise it took like, 20 tries to get these two. 🙂
ETA: These are so big! Sorry! Stupid Mac…Goodness knows I didn’t want my knees that big on the internet. 🙂

I don’t think you’re too old for a miniskirt but I do think that one looks very young (ripped hem)

Do it. Love the skirt and jealous of your lovely legs!! Dh is a lucky guy 🙂

I’m personally not a fan of denim skirts, but it looks fine on you, I dont think theres anything wrong with a 24 yr old wearing it. If you’re comfortable then wear it

Ahh crap, I voted yes by accident… I don’t think you’re too old to wear one. I still wear them every once in a while and I’m 32. You have great legs, show them off 😀

Agree. I don’t think you’re too old for a miniskirt in general, but that one has a “young” look with the flowers and ripped hem.

i don’t think you’re too old for a mini skirt at all, but i agree with @hotchildinthecity: the flowers and ripped hem make it look prepubescent-early teenage years

I think it looks fine but I agree with LGenz that that particular skirt looks like a really young style because of the ripped hem.

I kind of think that properly hemmed denim skirts are sometimes like the jean skirt equal to ‘mom’ jeans…I also don’t think this would be an appropriate skirt for a girl under 18/19 – I think you are a perfect age for it.

@hotchildinthecity: I agree. You’re not too old for mini-skirts in general, but maybe for this one. Your legs do look great though!! I’m jealous!

You are not too old to wear a miniskirt!
Howver I have to agree that the skirt is very young looking. Can you hem it yourself? Then again that’ll make it even shorter. I do like the embrodery but I can’t stand that unfinished hem.

God I hope 24 is not too old. I’m 32 and my husband still thinks and wants me to wear them… I say I’m too old for it, and hubby says I’m not too old until I’m a mom. That’s about as short as I’d go too….

Agree with PPs that you are not too old for a miniskirt and have the figure to pull it off, but that particular skirt with the flowers and ripped hem is very young looking.
