(Closed) Too old for a veil?

I am 45 and yes am wearing a veil…and it is purple the same as my dress….and yes a lot of people will think that is weird but so what…its what I want and now I am in my 40s I really dont give a damn what other people think…this is the best time of my life and I am going to have a blast!

I’ll be 49 at my wedding and I’ll be wearing a 3-tier cathedral veil.  I just finished making it. 

Wear the veil–you loved the look!

@Fredie: I’ll be  50+ when I get married and I have a cathedral veil so you’re never too old

You can wear a veil at any age!  There are so many different styles and lengths – there’s something for every bride.  I think most brides over 35 usually choose to not where the blusher – but a veil is perfectly acceptable. I was a little hesitant because of what I thought some others would think – but I so wanted to wear the veil – and so did my husband.  If you’re concerned – borrow one from a girlfriend and wear it around the house a bit – see if your ok with it.

You are never too old for a veil.  I just bought mine and it’s a knee length veil—perfect with the Watters Beverly Hills gown…so you can see I’m mature and doing the whole thing!!!
