They are a bit like nighties in some ways but I’ve seen waify girls pull this off and look amazing. Small boobs and toned back and it all loose and flowy.

I know we should wear whatever we want and sod it, but the reality is if you’re booby, your tits are going be swinging under your arm pits in something so flimsy.

So yeah if you pick a dress it will show off your body but we all want dresses that show our figures to their best. If this will do it for you depends on your body shape I think.

It’s really hard to tell if they are too sexy without seeing the dresses on you. I agree with the previous posters that if you have an athletic build with small boobs and a muscular back, then either dress would probably look better than on someone who is more curvaceous and needs more structure in a dress to look flattering.

In general, I usually think that if a bride questions whether a dress is too sexy or revealing, then it probably is~ for her, anyway. there are also a whole host of bees that purchase something and then have dress regret. You don’t want that…. so be really sure just how comfortable YOU are in the dress before making a purchase…. regardless of the feeedback from others.

shelbymac : I don’t think they’re too sexy. Like a pp said once having all the wedding accessories with either of them I imagine you won’t worry about them looking too sexy. Also as another pp said it will depend on what you look like in either of them.

I don’t think they’d be too sexy if you have relatively small boobs, but aren’t you going to be cold?!  They definitely look like summer dresses to me!

Check out real brides in the dresses on the Katie May and Watters websites.  Also scan the preowned websites for the dresses. Many brides show photos of themselves in the dresses. I actually believe that both dresses look good on hourglass figures. However, since the dresses are simple your alterations will need to be very good or the dresses will look off.

Unless you’re a Dear Daughter, I think they’ll be just fine. There’s nothing wrong with showing your back!

I like the Katie hun I would say though invest in a cardigan or cloak if you get too cold x

I really like the Katie dress but just a heads up that I wore something with similar straps in the second dress and because they were so flimsy and I hugged so many people one eventually broke right after dinner and I had to adjust it to a makeshift strapless dress for dancing!  Sorry for the sideways pic but you can see the straps are really similar and they just weren’t sturdy enough!  So make sure if you get skinny little straps that they are double reinforced.

I think both of them are really pretty because they are simple and understated. I can definitely see a whimsical sot of vibe. However, I don’t think they are “too sexy” at all. They show a good bit of skin but that’s just the look of those types of dresses. They kind of look like really dressy nightgowns? I think you should try them on and see how comfortable you feel in them. If you don’t fee comfortable standng in front of a mirror in it you probably won’t feel comfortable standing in front of your guests! Good luck!

I’ll be the one dissenting opinion: I think the backs are way too low/too much. Beautiful from the front though.

I think what matters is how you feel in them, but will you feel or look cold?  What is the weather like in your area of the country during October.  My daughter is also marrying in Oct, and the weather can be beautiful here or freezing, so she didn’t want a skinny strap on her dress just because she wants to look as if her dress matches the season in case it is cold. If you wear a summery dress, do you have a plan for a wrap of some kind?  Also, I think your age comes in to play.  My daughter will be graduating college a couple months before her wedding, and she is considering the grandparents reactions when choosing a dress. (Don’t want to give Grandpa a heart attack. ha!) However, I think a more mature bride really can pull off an edgier look if she chooses. Choose whatever will make you feel beautiful that day.

I’ve tried on the watters dresses. I felt so naked and it did not feel bridal to me because if it.  There was SO MUCH SIDEBOOB. If you’re not an A cup it is pretty cleavage heavy to the front and side.
