hintsofjoy : thanks! Just ordered that one too and will see which one I like most! I think your boot idea would be amzing with this dress! But sticking to my vision! Idk what it is but I think it’ll be so dreamy being in a field all dressed up lol reminds me of this’s perfume commercial I see often lol. I like to stick to the not normal!
I love it!!!! I’ve seen chicks here in formal gowns in the middle of the damn forest or a field which makes NO sense but still looks great.
i wore a sequin skirt and our pics were in the mountains. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting dressy out in nature.
To bring it down though, you could be barefoot, in boots or something a bit more casual.
Where did you get the dress?
I was also going to say that the boob situation would be my concern, but if you’ve got that covered (literally, ha!) then I think it’s fine. It’s just one leg from the mid-thigh down. And you can take photos from different sides so in some you can show off your leg and then have some from the other side where you just see the flowing fabric.
dearjohnbride : thank you! And your pics sounds lovely!! I’m going to search different footwear. And I got the dress from boohoo! They always have 40% or even 50% off almost everyday! Got my Fiance outfit from then too!
nonablu : lol! Omg the opening is soooooo low my boobs didn’t even stay in!
As someone who has struggled with weight, being in love with your body is not an easy feeling to come by. You look fantastic, you feel fantastic – show it off! I love the dress, and I love the shoes. It looks incredible on you! These aren’t your engagement photos so in my opinion modesty isn’t as big of a deal – but that being said, I don’t think this dress is too revealing, especially with the bralette.
IF you’re worried, could you do an outfit change mid-session? Maybe a few of you looking like a complete knockout in this dress, then some in a more ‘modest’ outfit?
I really like the dress but it is important to think what kind of feel do you want your pictures to have. While some ppl take pictures in the middle in the field in fancy dress I don’t think this dress really fits that setting. I would definitely wear something different OR change the setting for something more modern/elegant? The bottom line is do you want to have this romantic nature friendly feel or elegan sophisticated or easygoing casual look etc. The dress needs to fit with the photoshoot theme.
I just recently had a wedding shoot and in some of those locations ( hidding in the tree etc. ) I would just look ridiculous in this type of dress.
That said the dress is gorgeous.
