The dress is already gorgeous but hey, if you have a couple hundred left of your dress budget you could put that money toward alterations, for sure! You could always add a corset design or the buttons down the back somehow I’m sure. I think it looks really beautiful, what if you just added a diamond sash or something sweet like that?

good luck!

Stunning. I think ‘simple’ is a compliment, btw. It’s MUCH harder to construct a simple dress, without fanfare, blind and ruches etc. This is an elegant design,  and really super fabric. I wouldn’t mess with alterations – just spend your budget on a lovely veil.

You must update once you’ve tried it on!

I agree with other bees that it is too perfect to mess with it. If you want to dress it up then add a bold, flowing bouquet with a few extra blooms laced through your hair or maybe go with a bold statement necklace or chandeleir earrings. Let the lace speak for itself.  As for lowering the back…why would you? Will the exposure of more spine make it prettier? I think having a dress you can wear a normal bra with is one of it’s best features.

I think you have picked smething that looks comfortable, classy and timeless.
