Hi bees! I’m having an outdoor wedding in September at an old Plantation mansion (it’s big and white). Anyways, I wanted my colors to be natural and blend with the setting (so they are shades of white and green). On most of my tables I was just going to have 5 different sized white pillar candles with cylinder vases around them. Here and there I will have a small floral arrangement. I think it would be clean and simple but is it too simple? Thanks for your help!

Sounds lovely to me. I’ve seen a lot of centerpieces lately, similar to what you’ve described.

We’re also having an outdoor September wedding, but in an art and garden center, so are keeping the floral arrangements to a minimum, since we’ll be surrounded. For our centerpieces, we’re using low oval dishes piled with citrus and scattered with a few bright blossoms. Also on the table will be some wine glass lamps (thanks for the inspiration, WeddingBee!).
Your candle centerpieces sound perfectly lovely. If you feel they are too plain, you could scatter some blooms at the base or tie some ribbon low on the vases.

i don’t think they will be too simple at all, in fact we are doing something very similar. I have figured out the particulars yet, but I will post when I do.
