Here’s a photo with my band for reference. We still haven’t had a band made to match my Engagement Ring (other bands don’t sit fully flush with my ring and it drives me nuts), but I’m still looking forward to having that done in the future.
(please pardon the awkward angle/swollen sausage fingers in this photo haha)
I don’t think it’s too small. It looks really pretty. I have a friend with a really small ring, probably .1 carats, but I am always secretly admiring it. As long as it’s sparkly, I am a fan. Add some yellow gold and I am there!
i agree it may look small now but with a wedding band and eternity band it will be enough.
I think it looks absolutely perfect!
That is a really pretty diamond!
What size is your finger?
I’m about 8.5 – 9 and here is what we did with my .5 ct. solitaire. We added a .22 ct. halo and this is how it came out. If you want more finger coverage, but want to keep the engagement ring “as is” for sentimental reasons, maybe you could think about adding a halo for an anniversary.
Thanks ladies for all the rings pictures everything is beautiful!
I love the solitare look! I went with a three stone with sapphire sides but if I had to pick a second it would be similar to yours! It’s just so classy and the size is great! I think the shine factor is really obvious in your ring because holy cow that first picture (!) even in the shadow it is sparkling like crazy 😀 !
It’s simply perfect on your hand! 0.50 carats is a gorgeous size. 🙂
I think your ring looks perfec on you. and the diamond looks amazing!
I think it looks gorgeous and classy!
