Can you return the dress? I wouldn’t chance it with having a tailor/seamstress alter it because you still might not think it looks right (and it still may not fit properly), and then you certainly can’t send it back if it’s been tinkered with!

I would wait and see what the seamstress says. If a V back is doable and will help with your chest, go for it! I think your dress is beautiful! I don’t think you will get great advice here because it really depends on what is doable.

@laekna:  if I had of seen this dress when I was searching I would have got it.  it’s exactly what I was looking for and couldn’t find anything like it.

I too have a big tattoo on my arm

I think the v-back looks really nice, and balances out the front. Provided that the dress fits you around the waist, and it’s just at the top half of your back where it doesn’t zip up, I don’t think you’d need to go the whole way and put a corset back in. Plus, as you said, it is the kind of dress that probably looks better with a zip.

Though you may not be able to have it quite as low down as the example you showed without affecting how the dress sits on you.

I wouldn’t rely on losing weight for you to fit into it. There’s every chance that, even if you do, that weight won’t come off your boob area and it still won’t fit you up top.

P.S. The dress is really gorgeous!

The only thing I’d worry about with a deep v back is that you won’t be able to wear a bra that supports the girls.

I really don’t think a corset back would look good with the dress. I bet when she changed it into the vback it’ll help give you some room for your girls! The dress is amazing!

@michiru4ever:  Maybe some sort of compromise needed. Not the really low back of the example, but high enough so she can still wear a proper bra.
