I want to use this color scheme for my Oct wedding. My venue in Charelston is the Gazebo at White Point Gardens. Charleston is full of “vintage” being such a historical town. I just wonder how the color scheme will go with such an “old south” vibe?
Here are the colors:

It really is a beautiful place in a beautiful city. I just want to make sure I do it justice with my choice of wedding style.
PS- If you are ever in Charleston, it is a great place to visit!

I think your color scheme is beautiful and can be used any time of the year. We don’t all have to use red, gold and orange for a fall wedding.
If you look at a handful of fall leaves you will see almost every color in the rainbow.

@MrsBrown13: Your colors are totally fine for a Southern wedding in Charleston. It definitely makes me think Old South. Fall colors wouldn’t really reflect the Old South; I think of pastels and white. Besides, do the leaves even change in Charleston?

I always say do whatever colors you want, regardless of what time of year. It’s your wedding, nobody can tell you if you can or cannot have colors you want! I had brighter colors in the Fall and it looked lovely. Go for it!
By the way, your color scheme looks EXCELLENT with your venue!

Not all fall colors have to be red, gold, and greens!! I am getting married in Nov. and my colors are black, white, silver, and apple green!!

@yellowlace: +1. I had summer colors for my spring wedding. I HATE pastels!

Thanks ladies! I really just don’t want these old people to be like . You know like I cussed in church or something.
@beachbride1216: LOL!!! Yes, they will but usually do not start until later in the fall. The beginning of Oct, we are still hoping for a lot of green.

I’ve always thought fall colors would be darker tones. But with your venue it is perfect. Charleston is such a fun, sweet place. I wouldn’t doubt your colors.
