I’m a bride with a small budget and simple style. I recently came across this After Six (1027) dress on the Dessy website. I was interested because the price was fairly low ($425) and apparently you can order, try on, and return the dress if it doesn’t work out.
Well, as I was browsing Tradesy, I came across the same dress and it was $75! It’s a sample and described as very good condition. It’s been tried on but never worn out of the store. I kept going back to look at it and then the price was reduced to $50! I had to order it.
I can’t wait to receive it and try it on! I pray that it fits and looks nice. I’m a little worried that it could be too tight or too short but for $50, I figure that I could probably resell it to recoup my money.
The first pic below is the dress on the model. The second pic is me in a kinda-sorta similar dress at David’s Bridal.

That’s so pretty! Definitely worth the risk in buying because I believe you can resell that easily and recoup if it doesn’t work out 🙂

Yes, I think I could resell it if it doesn’t work out for some reason. I’m not planning to do a trash the dress session but if I did, I wouldn’t feel too bad about using this dress.
I will be so thrilled if it works out!
