I just finished using Crest 3D Professional Effects Whitestrips and I definitely noticed a difference.  I might need to use them one more time to get my teeth really white, but then again I drink a lot of coffee and red wine 🙂

I like the Crest strips too, but damn they make my teeth hurt!

I don’t know if it’s in your budget, but I snagged a $99 deal on groupon for complete dental exam, x-ray, cleaning, and professional teeth whitening. I thought it was TOTALLY worth it, esp. as I usually pay more than that just for the exam and cleaning! (I don’t have dental insurance.) It made a big difference – I can tell just by comparing snapshots of me a year ago to snapshots now.  I’m happy I did it.

They have these deals pretty frequently on groupon, so if you get the emails for the boston area, you might find a good one.

@KatyElle: I know!! Last time I used them I started crying halfway thru dinner cause they hurt so bad! I haven’t used them since lol.

I got my stuff that I use now from my dentist. He made a mold of my mouth and then at night I sleep with theses trays filled with whitening gel. It’s specifically for sensitive teeth so if your teeth are sensitive I would recommend talking to your dentist and seeing what he/she recommends!

I personally don’t use any strips, but I do use Rembrant intense stain tooth paste. I swear by the stuff, I’m a big smoker and coffee drinker and I get compiments on how white my teeth are all the time.

My husband tried the Equate brand from Walmart. They’re kind of awkward to use, they’re blue tray things instead of strips. BUT they worked so well and cost half the price of the Crest strips. I have the strongest-strength white strips (the kind you get in your dentist’s office, only I bought them on Amazon) but I’ll buy the Equate ones next time because I think they really do work as well.

Why not just go to your dentist and get the take home whitening gel. They take a mold of your mouth and than they give you these gels called opalscence.  They are wonderful!! they are a little pricy though. I paid $250 for mine.

I’ve used Crest Whitestrips too and had really good luck with them. My teeth were noticeably whiter in just a couple days, even with the ones that you use for 2 weeks.

i got a crest strip kit from my dentist that was stronger than the ones at the store. It was a little more pricey than the ones at the store (I think like $60) but it worked so well!! I used them for like two weeks for graduation pictures and my teeth were waaay whiter.

I used the Crest white strips before my wedding and it definitely worked.

Be careful to not leave them on longer than you’re supposed to.  I used crest white strips after I got my braces off and it totally stained two of my teeth with white spots :/!  It’s not as noticeable 5 years later but it’s still there!

I have braces and am getting them off in a little less than a year (right before the wedding!) and asked one of my friends with gorgeous teeth what she used.  She highly suggests crest white strips and uses them every three months.

I use the Listerine whitening pre-brush rinse every time I brush and that has helped maintain the whiteness after using Crest white strips which I love.
